Why join us for playgroup?

Playgroup at Trunkey Public School is a rich and engaging play-based learning environment which welcomes children aged 0-5. Providing a space for families to connect with the school community and children to engage with their peers before heading to school. Playgroup assists children in gaining the skills they need to be successful learners when they enter the classroom in Kindergarten.

Playgroup days and hours

Playgroup runs every Thursday morning from 9am - 11.30am. We encourage children attending playgroup to bring along their morning tea to eat with the school children and join in their recess play.

Books are a big feature and we work on developing the prerequisites the children need when learning to read.
