Heritage Country Small Schools

The Heritage Country Small Schools include Trunkey Public School, Neville Public School, Carcoar Public School, and Lyndhurst Public School. These small, rural schools serve as feeder schools into Blayney High School. We work closely together to provide extended learning opportunities for students and staff through collaboration. This includes shared excursions for Early Stage 1 and Stage 1 students and overnight experiences such as school camps for Stage 2 and Stage 3 students. Learning programs such as Life Education and Tournament of Minds, as well as sporting opportunities including PSSA teams, athletics, and swimming carnivals provide additional and valued experiences with students from adjacent schools. Our principals collaborate regularly to support these initiatives, all guided by our shared motto:

Traditional Values – Progressive Education.
